BBIA explains the role of bioplastics in a circular economy

The Bio-Based and Biodegradable Industries Association (BBIA) released a document detailing the role of compostable packaging in a circular economy.

This document explains how biodegradable bioplastics can benefit a circular economy, particularly in reducing GHG emissions, improving product design and solving environmental issues around waste management.

As a member of the BBIA, Biome Bioplastics welcomes this communication which will help audiences better understand bioplastics and their uses. You can read the full document here.

The BBIA’s mission is to advance the UK circular bioeconomy. It represents companies involved in the production of biodegradable polymers and finished products for the benefit of the environment.
